Becca Tobin, Glee Star, Breaks Silence on Boyfriend Matt Bendik Death
Becca Tobin has broken her silence on the death of her boyfriend Matt Bendik. The Glee actress thanked those who've reached out during this difficult time and shared a picture of the couple via Instagram on Saturday, Aug. 2.
"Thank you all for the love and support," the 28-year-old wrote. "Matt was the most extraordinary man I knew and he will live in my heart forever."
Bendik was found dead at the age of 35 at Philadelphia's Hotel Monaco on July 10. An autopsy was conducted, but the cause of death still remains unclear. Philadelphia police told Us there were "no signs of foul play" at the time.

"He was a hardworking businessman, the nicest guy, very diligent, with such vision," a source previously told Us of the nightclub entrepreneur. "It is unbelievable. None of us knows what it could be. He was a guy that loved life and loved living." A second added that the couple were "doing really well" and "they were happy together."
The tragic incident occurred almost one year to the day after the passing of Cory Monteith. Tobin's former Glee costar died of a heroin overdose at 31 in a Vancouver hotel last July.
