Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner Reunite on Red Carpet: Photos

Bella and Jacob, together again! Twilight costars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner reunited at the red carpet premiere of her new movie, American Ultra, on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Stewart, 25, dressed in a speckled sequined leg-baring jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad, and beamed as she cozied up to her old castmate. Like his old friend, Lautner grinned as they posed together on the red carpet outside of the Ace Hotel in downtown L.A.

This marks the costars’ first red carpet together since the final installment of the five-part Twilight Saga movies, Breaking Dawn-Part 2, hit theaters in 2012. Stewart and Lautner spent five years together on the Twilight set with stars like Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz and, of course, Robert Pattinson, who dated Stewart from 2010 to 2013, and played the star’s on-screen love in the blockbuster movies.

In a recent interview with Uproxx, Stewart shared her thoughts on the possibility of a Twilight reboot, surprisingly revealing that she was open to it.

“I was so genuinely, heavily entrenched in that, and not in a way that felt like an obligation. Even though after the first one, which stood alone, it lasted a long time,” she said of the movies. “It’s hard to speak to a five-year period in a few sentences, but I loved doing it. But that doesn’t mean I want to keep doing it. But if other people? Yeah, sure. To be honest with you: I would be interested. I’d be kind of fascinated, but it wouldn’t emotionally affect me one way or the other.”

The former child star made headlines last week after Nylon published its September 2015 cover story with the actress. While her ex Pattinson is now engaged to FKA twigs, Stewart’s rumored relationship with visual effects producer Alicia Cargile has yet to be confirmed — or denied by the actress.

“Google me, I’m not hiding,” Stewart told Nylon of her sexuality. “I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight. It’s like, just do your thing.”
